The ARWTC was established to promote international trade
throughout the state and region. The purpose of the ARWTC is to
bring together businesses and governmental agencies involved in
foreign trade to further the economic outlook for the state as a
whole, as well as to encourage stability, peace and world trade
development on the global level. The ARWTC will truly facilitate
and promote the international community in Arkansas.
The University of Arkansas holds the license in the World Trade
Center Association which brings a very strong academic component
to the activities of the ARWTC. College units within the
University are involved with the Trade Center in addition to the
Sam M. Walton College of Business International studies.
Student interns are utilized from colleges and universities
throughout the state of Arkansas. Students and faculty work
with individuals and companies in their international business
initiatives, while training students in practical applications
of international business and research.
The Arkansas World Trade Center occupies space in the World
Trade Center Building in the Pinnacle Hills area designated the
World Trade Center District. Successful World Trade Centers are
located in the midst of first-class amenities such as world
class hotels, shopping, dining, country clubs, convention and
expo centers and medical facilities. All of these are within
walking distance of the ARWTC. The ARWTC is a partner with
Pinnacle Group in Rogers Arkansas.
The ARWTC is strategically positioned to provide comprehensive
international trade services and global contacts to facilitate
and expand trade for regional, statewide and global clients in
conjunction with a partnership with the Arkansas Economic
Development Commission.
