Innovate Arkansas is a state-funded initiative that helps scale promising Arkansas technology ventures. Funded by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and administered by Winrock International, Innovate Arkansas assists technology entrepreneurs in turning startup companies into viable commercial enterprises. As a result of Innovate Arkansas' programming, the state of Arkansas has benefited from the launch of more than 750 startup companies, the creation of more than 6,000 Arkansas jobs, a sizable $939 million in revenue generated by these growing ventures, and a total of $473.6 million raised by our clients in private investment, public investment, and federal grants.
HealthTech Arkansas helps to drive innovation for the ten largest hospitals and health systems in Arkansas, which is accomplished through accelerator programs and internal innovation programming. Our internal innovation programming is focused on helping our state’s healthcare provider organizations to harvest, organize and develop ideas for new innovations from their own clinicians and administrators. We do that through a variety of specific programs focused on solving real problems and challenges (clinical and administrative in nature) through the development and commercialization of intellectual property to be owned by the provider organization.
