Panamanian Business Leader Visits World Trade Center Arkansas

April 28, 2017 – Jaime Figueroa Navarro, a Panamanian business leader visited the World Trade Center Arkansas on Thursday. Figueroa was born in Panama City, Panama and has had a diverse career as an executive for companies like IBM and Rohn Industries and is currently serving as Managing Director for investment consulting firm Panama All In One. 

The World Trade Center Arkansas was appointed to be an Honorary Consulate for the Republic of Panama with President and CEO Dan Hendrix serving as the Honorary Consul.

 

Figueroa was speaking Thursday night at the Don. W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development at the University of Arkansas. The title of his presentation “Panama, Bridge of the Business World” covered topics about the nature of the Panamanian economy, investment incentives, agricultural markets and trade, as well as international banking.

 

The mission of the World Trade Center Arkansas is to grow trade and increase Arkansas exports by connecting Arkansas businesses to the world through international trade services.
